I am an educator who is excited about interactive and unique lessons that have students exploring drama as literature while engaging with the text as a prospective actor, playwright, or dramaturg. I am passionate about introducing young people to rare pieces of the greater theatrical canon to broaden their horizons and discover artists whose work resonate with their artistry.

With my work, I aim to push the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in children’s theatre: tragedy, climate change, and disability. I wish to uplift the voices of young people who are gearing up to accept a world in crisis, and by doing so, legitimize their fears for the future. And I wish to share the legends, fables, and folklore of my Jewish faith with generations of young people to come, as stories of strife remind us to ever pursue the healing of the world, or tikkun olam.

It has never been more important to explore, celebrate, or reclaim stories from the past — even as we find ourselves living in a time when some are too eager to erase that past.
